The Question I Ask Before Anything Else

Before the product, before the plan — there's one question I ask every time. Here's why it changes everything about how I build.

I used to think building a network marketing business meant getting good at pitching. First the product, then the plan, then the close. It took me a while to realise I had it backwards.

These days, before I say a single word about what I’m building or how it pays, I ask one question:

“What’s your dream? What’s your biggest desire?”

Then I stop talking. I actually listen.

Because here’s the thing — I’m not trying to fit anyone into my business. That’s not the job. The job is understanding the life someone’s actually trying to build and then figuring out if what I’ve got is a genuine part of that picture.

The product? It’s a tool. The compensation plan? It’s a vehicle. Useful, but not the point.

The dream was never mine to hand out. It’s theirs. It was always theirs.

What I can do, though — what any leader worth following can do too — is help someone see what’s actually possible for them. Not sell them a version of my dream wearing their name.
